Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world with few resources for the people to make things better for themselves. Situated on the edge of the Sahara Desert makes for a very harsh existence for its people. Life expectancy is approximately 45 years and infant mortality rates are very high.
BDP exists to help in a small way to improve the lives of some of these people by raising awareness and funds and by sending teams to do practical work.
We can’t change the world but we can change the world for one person.
